Hardinge GD-5AX-210 2-axis rotary table bolts on in under 1 hour
Hardinge's GD-5AX-210 is a new bolt-on, self contained tilting dual-axis trunnion rotary table converts, in under 1 hour, a 3-axis mill into a full 5-axis multi-function machine.
The table will accept a wide range of proprietary toolholders in addition to the full Hardinge range. It features an A2-4 collet-ready spindle nose and a precision ground 210 mm diameter platter and accepts a range of standard collets.
Rigidity during machining is enhanced by the dual pneumatic clamp system and the dual bearing pillow block. The through diameter face plate is precision ground with a 1" or 25 mm through hole choice. The through diameter spindle can be increased to 1.25" (31.75 mm), without the collet closer.
Adjustable hardware limit switches measure the travel to reduce the possibility of a possible crash and a left or right hand motor mount is included on the tilt axis.
