Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions’ and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has just published its latest, ‘Summer Edition’ of Insight – the company’s popular, twice-yearly-produced customer magazine.

Mills CNC has published its latest “Summer Edition’ of Insight

Available in digital format, and accessible to read from the company’s website (www.millscnc.co.uk), this latest edition is packed with the latest news, information and developments from Mills CNC.

As well as containing a brief retrospective on Mills’ attendance at the MACH 2024 exhibition in April, where the company took orders for 30 machines over the five day show, this edition of Insight looks forward to another event that is fast approaching.

On 9-10 October, the company will be hosting its ‘Pushing the boundaries’ Open House at its Technology Campus facility in Leamington.

With 16 advanced DN Solutions’ machines being showcased alongside a number of SYNERGi and collaborative robot automated manufacturing cells, the event is aimed at component manufacturers looking to take their respective machine shops’ productivity, performance and process efficiencies to the next level.

Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s CEO, said: "Multi-tasking machine tools, that include models from our popular and proven SMX mill-turn range and our best-selling DVF simultaneous 5-axis machining centre series, will be out in force at the Open House performing a range of innovative and challenging machining demonstrations.

“The machines will be sharing centre stage with our SYNERGi (industrial robot) and Doosan Robotics’ (collaborative robot) automated manufacturing cells demonstrating, not only the power and flexibility of each system, but also how an investment in automation can transform component manufacturers’ productivity, process efficiencies and profitability.”

More information about the Open House, including online registration details, can be accessed from Mills’ website.

Other features in the ‘Summer Edition’ of Insight include a number of Mills’ customer case-studies focused on recent multi-axis lathe and vertical turning lathe installations, to name but a few. A new Zayer large-capacity gantry-type milling machine customer write-up has also been included for good measure.

2024 is proving to be another successful year for Mills CNC.

Machine tool and automation system sales remain high despite tougher market conditions, and revenues generated from the company’s CNC Training Academy and after-sales service operations are particularly buoyant.

The ‘Summer Edition’ of Insight provides readers with a unique, informative and entertaining perspective on how and why Mills CNC is the first choice for component manufacturers looking to push the boundaries and realise their true potential.
