MACH 2014 - AP chuck from Autogrip
Leader Chuck Systems has a huge range of workholding systems from its partners Hainbuch, AutoGrip, AMCC, MicroCentric and Bison, as well as Leader's own chucks.
Among the products (on Stand 5302 in Hall 5) is Autogrip's new AP range (pictured). It's available in four through-hole diameters - 52, 66, 86 and 115 mm - and has an integrated pneumatic cylinder that powers the opening and closing of the chuck jaws. This design negates the need for a drawbar to provide the jaw clamping force, resulting in a larger through-bore capacity for bar feeding raw material.
Be sure to also look at Leader's own MultiChuck MMY concentric clamping system. The firm says it offers a host of advantages to the self-centring of round parts on vertical and horizontal machining centres, milling machines and grinders.
