Delcam appoints new UK sales director

Mr Edwards has 20 years’ experience in the CADCAM business, most of which has been with Delcam. He started his career in CADCAM with Delcam in 1987 after completing his MSc in Computer Aided Design at Aston University. At that time, the company was still part of the Delta Metals Group and was known as DeltaCAM. After working for the company for two years, initially as an applications engineer and later as training manager, Chris left to join an AutoCAD main dealer based in Sale, Manchester, where he was responsible for the running of the company’s West Midlands Office. He then joined Applicon before returning to Delcam in 1994. Since re-joining the company, he has been an area sales manager and northern regional sales manager for Delcam UK, before moving into mainland Europe to work as the business development manager for Delcam’s wholly-owned subsidiaries in France, Germany and Italy. Commenting on the appointment, Clive Martell, managing director of Delcam UK said, “I am very pleased to announce Chris’s appointment as Sales Director. He has overseen considerable growth in the sales of our European subsidiaries and I am sure he will be able to achieve similar success in the UK.”
