Micro precision tooling specialist Rainford Precision has launched a full range of application-specific cutting tool catalogues to give a detailed insight into the vast array of high end cutting tools available.

The recent half-day ELMACT dissemination seminar on micro-machining held by GF AgieCharmilles was attended by over 50 delegates. The seminar focused on the use (and re-use) of high-precision micro-tooling and different cutting tool coatings for micro-milling and micro-drilling applications.

EDM and Milling machine tool specialist, GF AgieCharmilles, in conjunction with The University of Manchester and a number of technical partners (Microsystems UK, Rolls-Royce, Rainford Precision Machines, Teer Coatings and WLR Prototype Engineers), will be hosting a half-day 'ELMACT' dissemination seminar on micro-machining at its Coventry facility on 9 September 2010 (10.00 - 2.00pm).
