MAXIEM Waterjets, a division of OMAX Corporation

  • MAXIEM Waterjets, a division of OMAX Corporation
To meet the needs of a growing market demand for basic abrasive waterjet equipment, OMAX introduced the MAXIEM Waterjet. MAXIEM Waterjets integrates proven technologies in a cost-efficient package to provide users with an affordable, highly productive solution for part production. MAXIEM waterjet systems start at £55,000 + VAT installed.

The MAXIEM line is simply another result from OMAX's continued commitment to research and development. All MAXIEM machines are integrated with OMAX's patent pending X and Y-axis traction drive system, Intelli-TRAX. MAXIEM Waterjets come standard with a 20 hp (15 kW) high-pressure direct drive 3,450 bar pump. There is also the option to double system horsepower with a Dual Pump Package.

The winning combination of reliable nozzle power and Intelli-MAX Basic control software will produce the most economical part for you.
MAXIEM Waterjets are ideal for fabrication shops, metal service centres, trade schools, job shops, architectural, sign, stone, and gasket shops.

"Through years of marketing the OMAX line of JetMachining Centers, we recognised the strong demand for a line of basic abrasive waterjet equipment. With the new MAXIEM line, we meet this demand, as well as the varying performance needs required by the international community. These varying needs and requirements coupled with the current economic situation make this a most opportune time to introduce this type of machine," said Dr. John Cheung, CEO of OMAX.
