Verification software now available as a standalone product

  • Verification software now available as a standalone product
Numerical Control Computer Sciences (NCCS) has enhanced its CAD/CAM software product line to include a standalone version of the In-Process-Verification software, NCL/IPV that runs independently of NCL.

Customers can now run their verification and machine simulation software independently of their current programming software.

As a standalone product, NCL/IPV runs in conjunction with PostWorks, a universal 2- through 10-axis postprocessor generator.

One of the advantages to this software add-on is it creates a more user-friendly environment with more flexibility within the programming and machine simulation realm. In addition, it will strengthen the development of custom postprocessors and machine simulation.

According to David Schultz, NCCS' Manager of CAD/CAM Applications, "NCL/IPV, In-Process-Verification software will increase the productivity of the users of any CAM system. Adding this capability will greatly improve any shops profitability".

NCCS is the developer of NCL multi-axis machining software for the aerospace, automotive and turbo machinery industry.
