Trim MicroSol 519 from Master Chemical is boron and formaldehyde-free

Developed by Master Chemical Europe in the UK to meet the needs of European manufacturers, Trim MicroSol 519 synthetic coolant is boron- and formaldehyde-free. It is based on the chemistry of Trim MicroSol 690XT, a premium product in the range that Master Chemical says has enabled aerospace manufacturers, in particular, to achieve higher productivity and compatibility across several material types.

Trim MicroSol 519 provides medium to high levels of lubrication without the need for chlorinated or sulphurised extreme pressure additives and is said to be suited to machining and grinding cast iron. It also performs well in mixed metal production duties, thanks to its compatibility with all steels, aluminium alloys and yellow metals.

According to Master Chemical, good corrosion inhibition on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as hard water tolerance, are among further benefits.
