A new CNC universal grinding machine from Toyoda Machinery combines the flexibility of being able to be changed from straight to 30 degree angle approach by rotating the wheelhead.
The machine can handle parts up to 300 mm diameter by 1,000 mm between centres.The machine has a maximum swing of 320 mm and will accept between centres load of up to 150 kg. The wheel size is 510 mm by 100 mm by 203.2 mm bore, which is run at 45 m/sec, powered by a 7.5 kW motor.
