The Matsuura horizontal 5-axis MAM72-100H has the capacity to process billets and components up to 1,000 mm diameter by 770 mm high, and 780 kg in weight.

Equipped with a high-torque spindle (451 Nm: standard, 700 Nm: optional), the machine offers a dynamic and robust solution for machining hard-to-cut materials, such as titan alloy or inconel alloy, which have seen rapid growth in usage within aerospace recently.

The automatic tool changer is equipped with a drum-type tool magazine driven by a servomotor for short tool indexing time, low noise and low vibration. Abundant ATC / APC options for expansion are available on request.

Basic machine specifications are X, Y, Z travels of 1,050, 920, 960 mm respectively with corresponding rapid traverses of 60, 60, 50 m/min
