Key applications for the device include: ball screw axial measurement (both sides for pitch circle diameters); spherical, roller and four-point contact bearings; fuel injector straightness and seat angle measurement; and multi-part measurement using a single program.
Metrology 4.0 delivers a simple, intuitive interface with virtual display and real-time control. The point and move axis control function (SMART Move) is said to facilitate precise positioning and measurement.
