Amada Meister G3 surface/profile grinder

  • Surface profile grinder Amada Meister G3
Amada's Meister G3 surface grinder (formerly badged Wasino) is described as a multi-tool surface and profile grinder capable of handling anything from the most simple to the most complex tasks.

The Amada Meister G3 can be used for grinding of steel, carbide, ceramics and other materials in manual mode or full CNC. It has a grinding area of 500 by 200 mm and a grinding speed of up to 500 strokes per minute.

A touch-probe mounted on the grinding head measures the workpiece and can determine the start position for grinding operations. Residual grinding allowances are automatically calculated, and the machine will repeat the grinding cycle, in unattended operation, until the finish dimension has been reached.

The Meister G3 spec includes dressing and continuous path grinding technology for Y and Z axes, spindle and hydraulic cooling, ceramic spindle bearings and full enclosure. The control unit is designed for ease of use and inexperienced CNC operators are assisted by sophisticated macros.
