Strippit PA-Series material handling system for turret punch presses

  • Strippit PA-Series material handling system for turret punch presses
The Strippit PA-Series automatic load and unload system, from LVD company, is a material handling device, retrofitable to Strippit VX, V, and S-Series CNC turret punch presses.

The Strippit PA-Series provides uninterrupted service to the punching press, benefiting productivity. The system reduces manual worksheet handling time by as much as 80 per cent and can process materials up to 3.5 mm thick.

Offered in two configurations: Strippit PA-1225 supports sheet sizes up to 2,500 by 1,250 mm; Strippit PA-1530 handles materials up to 3,048 x 1,524 mm, with raw material bundle capacities of 2,500 kg (1225 version) and 3,000 kg (1530 version) respectively. Both systems work with minimum sheet sizes of 500 by 1,000 mm.

A space-saving design loads and unloads material from the same side of the turret punch press. Both loading of raw material and unloading of finished nests is handled at the front of the unit away from the loader head, providing convenient access to the pallets from one side, using a forklift.

More compact than comparable material handling systems, the PA-Series features a full brush table configuration to reduce part scratching.

Standard features of the Strippit PA-Series material handling system include a double sheet detection device, to prevent loading of more than one sheet at a time, and a sheet separation device, which can be used with ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
