Stocdon expands Osawa drill offering

  • Stocdon Osawa drills
Japanese drill maker Osawa's UK agent, Stocdon, is now offering a geometry that it says cuts cleaner putting less pressure on the machine. An improved PV200-300 coating both gives better wear resistance, dissipates heat and increases tool life, adds Stocdon.

KB Osawa high performance carbide drills are available in 0.1 increments and in several lengths, from 3 to 8 XD. Drills up to 15 XD are also available from Stocdon's central European stock centre.

Stocdon also has 3 to 5 XD KB SUH drills available, which have a lapped flute form and coating that are designed for work on stainless steel, as well as titanium and nickel based alloys.

KB ALH drills have the polished flutes and geometry suitable for machining aluminium, and they are offered in 3 to 5 XD, as standard.
