Stocdon introduces Telecentric 70 M vice for 5-axis machining

Designed for use on 5-axis machining centres, the Allmatic Telecentric 70 M high pressure vice is now available in the UK from Stocdon. Offering both conventional clamping and Allmatic’s Gripp clamping concept, the product features a telescopic spindle for constant clamping force and central, simple programming without zero point offset. Clamping force is 30 kN at 45 Nm linear torque.

Of symmetrical construction, the vice ensures that the workpiece remains central and parallel during 5-axis machining operations. The Allmatic Telecentric 70 M offers a quick change, tool-free jaw system – the jaws are reversible for min/max capacities. Workpiece support height is 192 mm.

Allmatic Telecentric 70 M vices are provided as standard with locating holes for a zero point clamping system, while attachment to the machine table is facilitated using a mounting raster (50/63 mm) for fitting bolt/cylinder screws or clamping shoes.
