Redesigned downdraft filter benches

  • Redesigned downdraft filter benches
Air Cleaning Systems (ACS) has introduced a re-designed range of downdraught filter benches.

The FB700II, FB1320II and FB2000II models control airborne particulate in processes such as de-burring, linishing, fettling and ingredient weighing applications, and they fully comply with the HSG258 legislation (controlling airborne contaminants at work).

The new downdraught benches incorporate an inverter control, filter gauges with 'filter full' indication, G4 pre/primary filtration and optional HEPA secondary filtration as standard. Additional standard features include a motor fail warning light, 3-sided enclosure, levelling feet and an on/off push button control with 'power on' light.

The benches are complemented by two carbon filter benches, designated FB700C and FB1500C to control odorous contaminants within an airstream. Typical applications include bonding processes and degreasing. The benches will improve the immediate working environment and eliminate potential respiratory health problems for employees.
