Rapid manufacturing of dental implants

  • rapid manufacturing dentistry
Concept Laser (ES Technology) has developed the compact laser melting machine Mlab cusing for producing dental implants or crowns for use in dentistry.

This new machine allows dental laboratories to increase the added value delivered and scope of production in house. The compact Mlab cusing is able to provide enhanced economic viability even with batch sizes as small as 20 units.

The Mlab cusing measures 705 by 1,833 by 955 mm (WxHxD) and features a clever, user-friendly pull-out drawer system. This includes both the construction chamber, with dosing chamber, and the storage container.

The drawer system is available with three different build envelope versions: 50 by 50, 70 by 70 and 90 by 90 mm. The height of the build envelope is always 80 mm.

The user can easily exchange the drawers allowing flexibility between component dimensions, while it is easy to remove the drawers for storing materials.

The laser operates with a focus diameter of less than 25 µm, reproducing high quality surface qualities and intricate and delicate component structures.
