Oil mist is comprised of liquid droplets generally up to 20 micron in size, whereas high speed machining can generate mist drops that form a liquid smoke with droplets measuring less than 1 micron. Nederman’s FibreDrain technology has been developed to capture these extremely small droplets.
Comprising six models, the OMF range offers an airflow from 1,000 to 6,000 m³/h with an inlet diameter that extends from 150 to 400 mm diameter. Available as a free-standing vertical design that sits alongside a machine tool or as a horizontal system for mounting upon a machine, the OMF has the option of two or three filter stages.
