Machining centre exploits transfer concept

The Ideo allows the possibility of producing, in parallel, two different workpieces in lots of different sizes. It can achieve complete machining of a workpiece by transferring it automatically from one module to another and, while producing one workpiece, the machine can be re-equipped to do another type of workpiece. The Ideo can also process six faces in a single clamping.

These advantages can be achieved using two independent 5-axis machining modules, supported by two automatic toolchangers with 32 positions. Extremely rigid and solid construction and a reinforced structure in polymer cement that absorbs of vibrations, as well as thermal compensation, assure accurate machining performance.

High productivity is provided by its 33 kW spindles and to its fast (1.6 sec) automatic toolchangers.
