Low-cost ANCA tool and cutter grinder is for resharpening/small batch manufacturing tasks

  • ANCA tool and cutter grinder
ANCA has launched a cost-effective, entry-level CNC grinding machine, FastGrind, aimed at resharpening or small batch manufacturing tasks.

Built on the proven platform of the ANCA RX7, FastGrind uses the same well established machine elements, the only significant differences between the two machines being spindle power and the entry-level machine's visual appearance.

By removing unnecessary high production orientated options, such as auto loading and automated clamping, ANCA has been able to substantially reduce build costs and deliver the most affordable ANCA CNC grinding machine to date.

The elimination of superfluous accessories has allowed the FastGrind to meet the specific requirements of resharpening or small-batch manufacturing and deliver a claimed unbeatable price/performance ratio.

Designed with regrinding capability in mind, the FastGrind's 3.7 kW/5hp (8 kW/10 hp peak) spindle offers sufficient power for resharpening tasks, as well as a range of light manufacturing tasks.

The new grinder includes all ANCA innovations, such as direct drive technology, polymer concrete base, MPG feed and Cim3D, and, most importantly, ANCA's ToolRoom suite allows users unlimited access to a full range of user-friendly, powerful tool and cutter grinding software capabilities.
