Laser marker for harsh environments

  • Laser marker for harsh environments
Rofin-Sinar's Multiscan HE laser source for coding and marking is configured for operation in harsh environments.

The existing Multiscan VS was specifically developed to enable alphanumeric text and complex graphics to be applied to a wide variety of materials including, glass, card, plastic, PVC and painted metals, in static or 'on the fly' marking situations.

The HE variant retains all of the features and flexibility of the original system but with the added benefit of an IP66 rating. This enhanced Ingress Protection rating will enable the system to be used in environments where liquids may be present, or where the system may require to be 'washed down' to comply with the strict hygiene requirements demanded by certain industries. It is a 120 watt CO2 RF excited Slab Laser.

Key features of the Multiscan HE include:
• Highest quality vector generation gives precise reproduction of graphics
• Large scan area, up to 250 by 250 mm, for large format codes or enhanced 'on the fly' marking
• Precise line tracking
• Advanced curve profiling provides accurate scaling of complex drawings and fonts
• Static or 'on the fly' marking capability allows flexibility for both current and future marking needs
• IP 66 rating for use in harsh environments
