The Toshiba MP-2620(U) double column 5-axis machining centre is capable of combining complex prismatic machining with the ability to turn parts using its integral CNC rotary table.

The MP-2620(U) has linear axis travels of 2,500, 3,400 and 800 mm in X, Y and Z respectively and a 1,000 mm elevating rail W axis. Rotary axes include a B indexing head with ±95° and a full rotary 2,000 mm C axis table capable of turning at 250 rpm with a torque rating of 20,000 Nm. Rapid rates are 40 M/min in the X and Y axes with 30 M/min in the Z axis. A tool changer capacity of 120 is standard and the machine is capable of handling a component weighing up to 10,000 kg.
