Kaltenbach KKS463 circular saw mitres faster

  • Kaltenbach circular saw mitres fast
The Kaltenbach KKS463 automatic high speed mitring up-stroking circular saw is a completely new design that claims a 'world's fastest' title.

It has a specially developed, single body rigid machine bed and offers high speed, high precision, rapid throughput of straight and mitre cut material, for flat, angle, bar, profiles and thick-walled tube. It is fitted as standard with high speed input and output gripper feed systems.

The KKS463 can rapidly make complex multiple-mitre front and rear cuts in any one position, with a mitre range of ±60°. Any gusset produced is pushed automatically from the saw table. Material capacity is 153 mm diameter, 140 mm square or 250 by 75 mm flat, with a range of options for automatic bar in-feed magazines or conveyors.

Kaltenbach has also launched a range of other circular and bandsaw machines, including its largest bandsaw, the KBS2101 mitring bandsaw. It has the capacity to handle up to 2,050 by 800 mm structural steel welded beams and rapidly NC mitre from -40° to +30°.
