Kabelschlepp says that the channel profiles with 2,000 mm length are easy to install and can be individually tailored to the required width for the drag chain. A high-strength, temperature resistant stainless steel gliding layer supports speeds up to 25 m/s. Newly developed gliding bars reduce wear and increase the service life of the carrier.
“Our customers can use this system to configure their individual solution with a modular kit,” says Werner Eul, product manager cable carrier systems at Tsubaki Kabelschlepp. “Additional damping strips, which can be ordered as an option, can help reduce noise emissions in the guide channel. As well as fixing sets for the drag chain in the channel, we also offer a lift-off protection as a step-on guard for the drag chain, fixing elements for cables and hoses on the outside of the cable carrier, along with connecting elements for parallel positioning of the channels.”
The mounting kits can be used to attach the guide channels quickly and easily from both sides. Kits contain all the fixing elements required for installing the channel side walls, whereby this can be spaced independently of the supporting structure.
Alu Guide is available for drag chains of the types K0650 (K series), M0650 and M0950 (M series), as well as Q080 (Quantum series). The combination with Quantum Q080 is particularly suitable for applications with high speeds and accelerations, says the company. A lack of polygon effect on the Q080 delivers quiet, low-vibration running.
