Hydraulic expansion clamping for large workpieces from Schunk

Large components, up to 500 mm diameter and weighing more than a ton, can be clamped safely and precisely, with the XXXL-size hydraulic expansion arbor from Schunk.

The XXXL hydraulic expansion arbor clamps workpieces deformation-free and gently, in seconds, with a repeat accuracy of <0.01 mm. Additionally, locating pins guarantee alignment and mounted on a rotary table, the heavy duty arbor allows machining with a single set-up.

Stators for large electric motors, gearbox parts for wind power plants, large components for power plants and the petroleum industry, can all be clamped quickly and precisely with the arbor.
