Higher power diode lasers now available from Trumpf

  • Trumpf diode lasers
Trumpf has expanded its TruDiode Series, with these now available with output power of 800, 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 watts for welding, brazing, hardening and heat treatment.

These industrial grade diode lasers possess a beam quality comparable to that of lamp-pumped lasers – even at high output power – all at significantly lower operating costs.

In a three-shift operation, the variable costs can be up to 95 per cent lower. The reason for this is the high 'wall plug efficiency' of the diode laser, which can reach up to 40 per cent. Likewise, the passively cooled diodes offer a long life for the TruDiode beam source. Thanks to their modular design, the diode lasers can be easily integrated into existing production systems.
