Heidenhain Doosan VMC series

Mills CNC has recently launched a range of Heidenhain iTNC 530 controlled Doosan vertical machining centres into the market.

The machines – the DNM 500 and DNM 650 – are high-performance, cost-competitive 3-axis VMCs aimed predominantly at precision manufacturers operating in the tool and die, and aerospace sectors, plus customers manufacturing complex parts in small-to-medium volumes and who prefer the functionality and performance capabilities of the Heidenhain control.

The DNM 500 and 650 machines are equipped with a 17 kW 12,000 rpm spindle (BT 40 Big Plus type), and have a 30-position ATC. The DNM 500 has X, Y and Z travels of 1,020, 540 and 510 mm, respectively, and the DNM 650's read 1,270, 670, and 625 mm.
