Starrag Heckert’s HEC 1800 joins the top end of the Athetic machining centre range. Key specifications of the 1800 include a pallet dimension of 1,800 by 1,250 mm, interefence range of 3,3000 m and travels in X,Y and Z axes of 3,400, 2,500 and 2,250

The HEC 100, 1250 (pictured) and 1600 have been used by manufacturers of industrial transmissions for many years, used standalone or linked in flexible systems. Complex workpieces with edge lengths up to 3,000 mm and weights up to 8,000 kg are machined fully automatically and ready for assembly.

Machine advantages include high flexibility and productivity, innovative tool and workpiece handling, and complete machine in one or two clamping positions, delivering IT 5/6 machining quality.
