General purpose entry level pressing lubricants

Rocol’s V-press cost efficient entry level pressing, forming and drawing lubricants have been developed to complement the company’s high performance Ultraform range.

V-press X³, a water extendible, extreme pressure, cold metal pressing lubricant can be used as a universal fluid, and avoids stocking a number of different grades. It is particularly suitable for light to medium gauge stainless steel components produced on progression tooling. It mixes at a ratio of 3:1 in water and can replace neat oil in some applications.

V-press X¹ is again a general purpose, extreme pressure, cold metal pressing lubricant but is used where a neat oil is required to offer lubricant ‘carry over’ to second operations and to eliminate variance in production. It is particularly suitable for light to medium gauge drawn components. High load carrying characteristics reduce metal pick-up and scoring and X¹ provides short term corrosion protection. It is easily applied and can be easily cleaned.
