Filtermist’s F Monitor offers dual functionality
Oil mist collection specialist, Filtermist, says that its F Monitor represents a dual function monitoring system that advises machine operators when the extraction unit needs servicing, as well as warning of any potential blockages which may reduce the effectiveness of the system.
The monitor measures airflow inside the unit and alerts the operator to any reductions in airflow which could be caused by blockages in the ducting or after-filter. Furthermore, the built-in timer indicates when the unit is approaching 1000 or 2000 hours of use so that a service can be arranged. The equipment uses the globally recognised traffic light warning system.
Measuring just 95 by 110 mm and with a depth of 40 mm, F Monitor is currently available as a stand-alone accessory and can be retrofitted to the complete Filtermist range using a customised bracket.
