Engineering Technology Group launches high speed heavy duty Feeler VMCs

  • Feeler vertical machining centres Taiwan machine tools
The Feeler HV800 and HV1000 vertical machining centres are manufactured to UK distributor Engineering Technology Group's uprated specification. This includes a 22 kW, 15,000 rpm direct drive spindle and rapid traverse speeds of 60 m/min in X and Y axes and 30 m/min in the Z-axis.

The HV machines are designed for heavy duty and high duty cycle machining, with a powerful high speed spindle coupled with a robust single casting machine frame, roller guideways in X and Y axes and box ways in Z. Machining envelopes are 800 by 520 by 505 mm for the HV800 and 1,000 by 520 by 505 mm for the HV1000.

Both machines feature the Fanuc 18i-MB control and the 30-tool automatic toolchanger offers a 1.9 sec tool-to-tool time.

As an introductory offer, the machines are available ex-stock from just £85,000 for a package that includes 20 bar through-spindle coolant with 300 litre tank and filter, 4th axis interface prepared, and a two-year warrantee.
