Faro offers value model highly accurate contact-only Prime measurement arm

Faro Technologies' FaroArm Prime 6-axis portable measurement arm is aimed at users who do not require one of the company's higher price ticket all bells whistles models. Instead the Prime provides a 0.019 mm accuracy, contact-only measurement solution for every-day inspection and quality assurance routines, reverse engineering and CAD-to-part analysis.

The Prime is available in four lengths from 1.8 to 3.7 m and is equipped with Bluetooth technology eliminating the need to tether the device to a laptop. Constructed from composite materials and powered by an extended-use battery, Primes are designed and constructed for daily shopfloor use and durability.

The Prime is compatible with Faro's CAM2 Measure 10 software and others, and is available from Faro worldwide.
