The new machine has a 10,000 rpm direct coupled BT30 spindle with a 24,000 rpm high speed option. It is specified with a high speed rapid traverse rate of 54 m/min with optimised axis motion technology involving ultra-fast acceleration and deceleration and incorporates a totally new Fanuc FS-31iA5 control.
