EcoBall Endmill from TaeguTec

  • EcoBall Endmill from TaeguTec
TaeguTec's EcoBall range, of ball nosed end mills, are pressed to size during the production process.

This process reduces stock removal and enables cost savings to be passed on to the end user and also produces higher rigidity than conventional methods.

This TiAlN carbide range, of two flute cutters, is available in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm diameters, with respective cutting lengths of 5, 7, 9, 11 and 12 mm, and overall lengths of 54, 56, 66 and 73 mm.

The EcoBall can be applied to roughing and finishing applications, on alloy steel and tool steels from 30 to 45 HRc, and on hardened steels from 45 to 55 HRc. Depending on material type, speeds beyond 15,000 rpm and feed rates faster than 1 m/min can be achieved.

The EcoBall can be easily re-ground for further cost benefits.
