Cyber Series PCD milling cutters for graphite, Kevlar and composite machining

Cyber Series PCD milling cutters for graphite, Kevlar and composite machining

An extension to the Cyber Series of ITC cutting tools for machining graphite, metal matrix, composites, Kevlar, carbon fibre and additional abrasive materials. The 2111 series is a two-flute PCD endmill with a solid carbide shank and necking for extra reach. Each cutter in the range has a length of cut that matches its diameter and a corner radius that sees both attributes combine to provide exceptional strength and rigidity when machining. Available in diameter ranges from 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 20 mm. The 2102 series of PCD ball-nosed end-mills, like the 2111, has a solid carbide shank for maximum rigidity with PCD brazed tips for enhanced tool life and productivity when machining abrasive materials. The solid shank guarantees rigidity under difficult cutting conditions while the PCD tips demonstrate tool life beyond that of its competitors; this combination provides the customer with improved surface finishes and productivity gains.
