Available from Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC), it is for multi-function cutting tasks, including chamfering, back chamfering and face milling capable of slashing machining times by up to 85%.
This high productivity improvement is credit to the tool's innovative design that reduces the cutting diameter down to the lowest limit, which enables impressive ultra-high spindle speeds and feed rates. Cutting speed is further increased by the new wear-resistant inserts with multi-layer physical vapour deposition (PVD) coating.
Available in single-insert and four-insert configurations, increasing the number of inserts multiplies the feed rate, with this significantly speeding up operations and improving productivity. The introduction of the C-Cutter Mini introduces of the world's smallest hex insert, with a diameter of 3.97 mm. This allows highly efficient back chamfering from a 6 mm starting hole diameter, while the three-corner insert design reduces costs.
