Amada to highlight beam control technologies at EuroBLECH

The latest additions to Amada’s ENSIS series of laser cutting machines, utilising the company’s own AJ fibre laser engine with proprietary beam control technology, will be in the spotlight at EuroBLECH 2018 (22-26 October, Hanover). Using just 2 or 3 kW of power, ENSIS fibre machines can process thin to thick materials with a single lens. However, as higher power requirements have been getting more common, so Amada has recently added 6 and 9 kW variants to the ENSIS series.

ENSIS technology is not only applicable to flat sheet cutting. Amada is also introducing the ENSIS RI machine (flat sheet plus tube/profile cutting) and expanding the FLW ENSIS robotic fibre laser welding series to meet customer requirements.

For bending, Amada will exhibit the EG series electric press brake: a compact ergonomic machine incorporating the company’s patented dual servo technology that allows high-speed, high-precision part manufacture with additional operator-focused benefits.

All machines being exhibited in Hall 12, Stand D06-F06 will be connected to Amada’s IoT compatible V-Factory system.
