Abrasive regulation for water jet cutting

  • Abrasive regulation for water jet cutting
The Abrasive Regulator 2 boasts high accuracy in the dispensing of abrasive so that consumption is optimised in accordance with the cutting operation being undertaken.

The Abrasive Regulator 2 has 30 different precision settings for abrasive flows from 0 to 500 g/min. This tuned delivery can also be adjusted via a dial with no interruption to the cutting process. This accuracy is in contrast to older alternative abrasive regulators which only have one setting for abrasive flow resulting both in wastage and no optimisation of the cutting process.

The regulator can be fitted to water jet machines with an AccuStream intensifier, as well as retrofitted to most other leading water jet manufacturers' products.

In operation, an acrylic canister gives the operator visual confirmation of abrasive delivery. There is a simple air-to-open and air-to-close controls and a built-in backflow diverter.

AccuStream is represented in the UK by exclusive agent: Wightman Stewart, Ripponden, West Yorkshire.
