WNT pleased with visitor response at MACH

  • WNT pleased with visitor response at MACH
WNT has said that MACH 2010 proved to be a powerful draw for visitors, providing it with many leads and opportunities to increase its market share as the UK emerges from recession.

"I guess most exhibitors were a little nervous ahead of MACH 2010, but we had a steady stream of visitors to our stand throughout the week," commented Tony Pennington, managing director of WNT (UK). "We are extremely pleased with the number of solid enquiries we received, with in excess of 1,250 people visiting the stand, with around 20 per cent of them generating good quality enquiries that we will be following up.

"The new and existing products, along with technical support provided by WNT (UK), are proving to be a combination that is attractive to many UK manufacturing companies."

The high visitor count also benefited The British Heart Foundation through a draw on WNT's stand that raised £1,408, with the prize of a mountain bike won by Paul Dunn (picture, right), plant manager at West Pharmaceutical Services, who was presented with it by Iain Tattersall (picture, left), WNT (UK)'s technical sales engineer for the south west region.
