Walter Maschinenbau 2005 turnover equals record year

Walter Maschinenbau turnover for 2005 equalled the company's previous record reached in 2001, reports the company.

Sales of Walter Helitronic tool grinders, Heli Toolcheck/Helicheck tool measuring machines and Woodtronic saw blade grinders increased last year, compared with 2004, reports Körber Schleifring UK of Honiley near Kenilworth, and helped Walter Maschinenbau of Germany generate order and turnover levels of more than €100 million. In the UK, Körber Schleifring’s sales director Neil Whittingham says the UK sales figures rose 34 per cent compared to 2004, with all machine types contributing to the company’s continual success. With over 520 machines manufactured, in 2005 Walter Maschinenbau recorded an income that was equal to the previous record year of 2001. Pictured: Heli-Toolcheck
