Vollmer shows grinding and eroding machines at MACH 2010

  • Vollmer shows grinding and eroding machines at MACH 2010
Vollmer UK, a specialist in grinding and eroding machinery for tool production and maintenance, will show the Loroch Solution K850 and the CX100 for the first time at MACH, while the market leading CHD270 and Loroch CNBS machines will be demonstrated following increasing market demand for them, on Stand 5080.

PCD tooling will be on display, demonstrating the capabilities of the Vollmer range of erosion machine tools with regard to processing drills and cutting tools, as well as, additional components. As a leading innovator in this sector, Vollmer will be delivering a seminar at MACH on Thursday June 10th at 12pm.

Regarding the machines, Vollmer will be showing its Loroch CNBS 80 for the re-sharpening of bandsaw blades. The CNBS can accommodate saw blades from 8 to 80 mm wide, 0.5 to 3 mm thick and 2.8 to 7 m long with a pitch from 3 to 34 mm, catering for the majority of saw blades on the market.

Alongside the CNBS will be the Loroch Solution K850 machine for the re-sharpening, re-toothing and chamfering of circular saw blades. Specifically for the machining of HSS blades, this unit can be used with saw blades from 40 to 850 mm diameter, with chamfering possible on blades from 120 to 850 mm.

For the sharpening and re-grinding of TCT circular saw blades, Vollmer will give the CX100 automatic grinding machine its MACH debut. The CX100 has been designed for economical processing of top, face and hollow faces on carbide tipped circular saw blades up to 500 mm diameter.

Also on show for the grinding of TCT blades will be the Vollmer CHD270 5-axis precision grinding machine.
