Walter Machines enters stand-alone presetting market

Walter Machines UK has entered the stand-alone toolpresetting market with the launch of the Heliset Uno for tools and grinding wheels up to 230 mm diameter and 370 mm long.

The Heliset Uno claims a repeatability of four microns and feature s a 19 inch touchscreen, pneumatic clamping in both axes, free-moving linear guidance and incremental measuring with glass scales.

Options include data transfer to production machine, VDI indexing with a single clamp thermal printer and reflected light operation.
