Titanium machining event

  • Titanium machining event
NCMT will be holding titanium machining days on 1 and 2 July.

The events, to be held at the company's Thames Ditton site, follow the its successful titanium machining roadshow, which visited six venues around the UK during March and April and attracted more than 150 engineers, principally from the aerospace, power generation and medical sectors.

New techniques on how to maximise metal removal rates when machining titanium and other difficult-to-machine materials to tight tolerances will be demonstrated on a Makino a81 horizontal machining centre. Supporting technologies from tooling, software and other third party suppliers will form part of the presentations.
