System 3R Delphin system offered on cut-price terms for limited period

For a limited period, until 30 December 2006, special ‘Starter Sets’ of Sytem 3R's ‘Delphin’ clamping system will be available at a massive discount.

A two-chuck base plate (either pneumatic or hydraulic), two sets of clamping spigots and two locking spigots are being offered for £1,650. A four-chuck pack is £2,999.

‘Delphin’ is a machine-independent reference system which, in addition to increased productivity, offers highly flexible production.The system satisfies requirements for quick changing, together with accurate (positioning accuracy better than
5 micron) positioning and fixing of the workpiece.

Several consecutive machining operations can be done in different machines with only one alignment procedure, setting outside the machine adding to the speed of changeover.

As as an “open” reference system, it is also not limited by standard pallet sizes. In principle, Delphin is made up of only two parts – a chuck and a drawbar. The drawbar can be fitted directly to the workpiece or to the fixture, giving a low overall height. The system is modular, with the user deciding the number of chucks to be mounted on each machine table, angle shelf or cube.
