MTA invites subcontractors to free-of-charge seminar at JCB

  • Subcontracting seminar at JCB Rocester
The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) is encouraging subcontractors to attend an event at JCB, Rocester, Staffordshire, on Wednesday, 6 July, to see "how the MTA can support supplier businesses and help them to connect and grow with the manufacturing technologies sector".

The free-of-charge will be hosted by JCB at its cutting-edge engineering facility in Staffordshire and will, says the MTA, offer a great chance to network with key players in the manufacturing industry.

Speakers at the event will include MTA President and managing director of Kyal Machine Tools, Simon Pollard; JCB's group director of Manufacturing, Mark Turner; MTA director general Graham Dewhurst; and a number of subcontractor representatives presenting case studies of successful partnerships within the manufacturing sector.

Following lunch, delegates will be able to tour JCB's facilities. JCB is keen to keep as much manufacturing as possible in the UK, both in its own facilities and through growing the company's UK supply chain.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, but places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
