Punch and die maker expands in Europe

AW Precision, Europe’s leading manufacturer of punches, dies, die sets and press tool accessories, has opened a new high-tech manufacturing facility in central Belgium.
AW Precision BVBA is aimed at strengthening its mainland European service to meet the demands for supplying punches and dies throughout western and eastern Europe.
In addition to this, AW has invested in leading-edge technology to support it UK operations in Rugby, Warwickshire and also at its USA subsidiary, AW Precision LLC, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Both plants have seen recent investment in hard turning, CNC profile grinding, CNC cylindrical grinding, an integrated mill-turn centre, and EDM wire eroding, incorporating robot and pallet feed systems.
“AW Precision is already recognised throughout the UK and both Eastern and Western Europe as a leading manufacturer of press tool punches,” said Mark Duncan, sales director. “With the benefit of our new manufacturing sites and machine tools together with the continued commitment of our employees, we will focus on developing those export markets that have previously eluded us”.
