Pullmax returns to UK under own name

Having been represented in the UK for the past five years by Bystronic, Pullmax AB once again has its own separate representation.

Headquartered in Warwickshire, it is also headed up by Pullmax Ltd previous managing directo Kevin Brien.

“When I was approached by the CEO of Pullmax AB about heading up this new company it seemed too good an opportunity to turn down,” Mr Brien said. “Despite being away from the industry for a number of years, I still believe the Pullmax name is synonymous with quality punching machines and bespoke automated systems. Pullmax Limited will be one of a very few companies focussing solely on punching machines.”

Of the company’s location in Warwickshire he added: “We have chosen Warwickshire as our base as it is central to our customer base and within easy access of the road, railway and airport links. It is from here we will be supplying our existing punching machines users and new customers within in the UK and Ireland in terms of sales and after-sales support. The after-sales support Pullmax provides has always been central to its success and we have in place an after-sales department to ensure this continues.”

The after-sales department is headed up by Terry Wright who has worked with Pullmax punching machines for over 20 years and is well known to Pullmax punching machine users. Working alongside him are a number of field service engineers equipped with the most up-to-date diagnostic equipment.

Mr Brien concludes: “Pullmax has enjoyed great success throughout the years with its range of punching machines and has a reputation for providing high quality, flexible automated systems which provide customers with a number of options to maximise the manufacturing process. In today’s difficult trading conditions accuracy, efficiency and short lead times are essential elements of a customer’s success and it is my belief that automation is going to play a bigger part than ever in modern manufacturing.”
