Pryor traceability solutions on show at Southern Manufacturing

1 min read

From stand E205, Pryor Marking Technology will be displaying its latest range of identification and traceability solutions at Southern Manufacturing 2019 (5-7 February, Farnborough). Visitors to the show will be able to view three of the company’s latest marking products, as well as discuss marking solutions, and traceability and tracking software, be it for integration within existing operations, portable equipment or bespoke designs.

Pryor will be demonstrating its ‘on-the-fly’ high-speed laser marking product, which enables permanent laser marking on a high-speed conveyor in as little as 0.5 seconds. The marks meet industrial standards and offer the same quality as stationery marks, says Pryor.

Portability is a key factor for a lot of businesses, particularly in the aerospace and automotive sectors as they often have large heavy items that require marking. Pryor’s portable laser allows easy marking of large, immobile and heavy items, and can mark a wide range of materials. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to see this product in use.

In addition, Pryor will be showcasing its Portadot product, which provides a fast and mobile method of dot-peen marking. Suitable for marking permanent alphanumeric, logo or 2D barcode information, Portadot can be used on immobile, large or heavy components.

Pryor will have a team of experts on hand to answer any questions from visitors, as well as discuss marking solutions for component traceability, control and data capture.
