Productivity Partnerships puts on largest show ever

A record 24 suppliers of production equipment, software, tooling and ancillaries are to take part in Productivity Partnerships 2006 exhibition being staged for the 12th year in succession at the 600 Centre in Shepshed, near Loughborough between 14 and 16 November 2006.

Technologies covered include: turning, milling, grinding, wire and vertical EDM, robotics, production automation, inspection, automated cleaning and component marking. In addition there is advice on hand for financing any investment, exhibits and demonstrations of the latest tooling and workholding developments, software, filtration equipment and non-contact measurement. New partners include: Baty International with non-contact measurement and inspection equipment; Faro UK, measuring arms and systems; Floyd Automatic demonstrating tooling for sliding-head automatic lathes; and Rigibore, which will be demonstrating its newly developed remote automated precision boring bar adjustment system able to work to micron tolerances. Included in the demonstrations will be a focus on automation and single cycle multi-axis turning involving subspindle and y-axis, 5-axis and high-speed milling and precision turning of micro components on wire EDM. In addition, a full range of grinding machines will be under power, laser marking and automated component cleaning will be demonstrated.
