Engis UK wins Micro Abrasives Corporation products agency

Engis UK has been appointment as UK distributor for the complete range of Microgrit Water Classified Aluminas by Micro Abrasives Corporation.

Microgrit WCAs will be available, from stock, for immediate delivery, from Engis UK's Henley-on-Thames facility.

Microgrit products have earned an international reputation for consistent high product quality – so much so that Microgrit WCA was the chosen for lapping the command module windows for many space projects.

Other, rather more down-to-earth applications for Microgrit WCAs include: metal lapping, for which it offers a number of closely graded precision abrasives, including sub-micron aluminium oxide polishing powder for finishing lapping; fibre optics, with Microgrit CEO for polish and Microgrit FP colloidal silica for final finishing; and precision optics and ophthalmic applications, for which it offers a line of clear plastic lens polishes in both powder and slurry form as well as cerium oxide polishing powders.
